Drumkit From Hell Superior是有史以来最强大也是容量最大的纯鼓音色库。总量为9张DVD。
Drumkit From Hell一反其他鼓组「原音录制」的原则，他们加上了自己喜欢的 EQ 处理，让声音得非常有个性。只要用对地方，不用什么大调整就可以在 mix 里站得很稳，它总共有 35G。
小鼓，左右手打击「各」有 10 soft hits, 15 gradient hits（由弱到强）跟 10 hard hits（这些不包含 roll 等特殊打法），光一个小鼓的正常单点就有 70 个 hits。更特別的是，这些 hits 是会自动轮流出現的。如果你的 midi notes 一直是 velocity 127，程序会自动在 10 hard hits 里面自动替换，因此你不会听到连续两声相同的小鼓。
而关于 soft and hard 的 velocity 是可以自己调的。举例来说，如果你的键盘不太灵敏，可以自己把 soft and hard 的区域订在 48 以下／96 以上，程序会自动把该分配的都分配好，包括中层的 15 gradient hits 自动分配在 48~96 之间。这个用 soft sampler 要调很久.
到录音室听过人家录真鼓的朋友都知道，每一支麦克风都会录到其他鼓的声音：大鼓的麦克录到小鼓，overhead 录到整組等等。DFH Superior 把這個这个也做进去了，而且允许使用者调整每一支的每一个鼓的串麦程度。
Superior 里面有 6 kicks, 17 snares, 五組组toms, 8 hi-hats, 7 ride cymbals, 41 crash cymbals, 3 splash cymbals。
它还可以挑选鼓槌,大鼓头有 felt, plastic, wood 三种，小鼓可以用鼓棒, rod, brush & felt mallets 四种。
除了 Drummer 之外，Superior 还包含了其他两个程序。一个是 Percussionist，不用多说了。光铃鼓就有十个不同的铃鼓可以选，这是目前你可以见到的最多的铃鼓了.
生意做小的时候可以任性，做大了就得顾及普遍性。可能他们當当初沒想到自己会这么红吧！这次的 Superior 就乖乖地用原声录制了。 Superior 跟一代 DFH 简单比较一下，两代的个有所性不同，音质上也有了很大的进步，跟其他的鼓组比起來也可以算得上佼佼者了。

Cymbals:
The cymbals have numbers next to them (1,2,3,4,5,6). The numbers are just to point out where in the stereo field they are recorded, number 1 is far to the left, and no 6 is far to the right. (unless you use the reverse stereo in the plugin, then it will be the opposite)
Except for those, there are choices for “Splash” and “Spock” (spock is a mix between China & Crash cymbal) All in all you can have 14 cymbals at the same time.

The reason we didn’t assign one instrument to a channel of its own is due to the fact there would be too many output channels, and it would dríve you crazy. So, remember, this is in programming mode, when you bounce, you can select to split desired microphones which contain more than one instrument into an audio channel (.wav) of its own, so everything is separate in a mix situation.
