andtopologyofKirchhoff’selectriccircuitlaws,soapfilms,specialandgeneralrelativity,
theDiracoperatorandspinors,andgaugefields,includingYang–Mills,theAharonov–
Bohmeffect,Berryphase,andinstantonwindingnumbers,quarks,andthequarkmodelfor
mesons.Beforeadiscussionofabstractnotionsofdifferentialgeometry,geometricintuition
