莫札特(Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart,1756~ 1791)一生共创作了四十一首《钢琴与小提琴奏鸣曲》，其实这些作品的原名应为《附有小提琴自由伴奏的钢琴奏鸣曲》。(摘自庄裕安所著「寄居在莫札特的壁炉」第七十九页)这些作品不像一般《小提琴奏鸣曲》当中的钢琴仅是伴奏的地位，反而是主角。不过可爱的莫札特并不忘提携小提琴，若钢琴唱出一段清亮优美的声音，莫札特也会记得给小提琴来唱出一段甜美动人的歌声，谁都不偏心。例如莫札特在1778年 2月完成，一共两个乐章的《G大调第十八号钢琴与小提琴奏鸣曲》(Sonata No.18 for Piano and Violin in G major, K.301)第二乐章，先由钢琴弹出轻快优雅的旋律，小提琴在一旁轻声唱和。紧接著小提琴重覆同样的旋律，换由钢琴轻轻地跟随，这是这张专辑里我最喜爱的音乐。
希拉蕊‧韩(Hilary Hahn, 1979~)慕特(Anne-Sophie Mutter, 1963~)其实莫札特这四十一首《钢琴与小提琴奏鸣曲》当中，比较著名的可能是在1778年完成的《e小调第二十一号钢琴与小提琴奏鸣曲》(Sonata No.21 for Piano and Violin in e minor, K.304) ，因为这是莫札特在丧母期间完成的作品，跟他同期完成的另外一首《a小调第八号钢琴奏鸣曲》(Piano Sonata No.8 in a minor, K.310)，这两首音乐最能反映莫札特当时内心的伤痛。当时莫札特的母亲随著他一同前往巴黎，莫札特期望自己的事业能够在巴黎寻得新契机，然而一切不如预期，莫札特的母亲又因为长途拔涉以及水土不服，一病不起，於是巴黎遂成为莫札特的伤心地。这首《e小调第二十一号钢琴与小提琴奏鸣曲》似乎是小提琴家们发行莫札特《钢琴与小提琴奏鸣曲》专辑的优先选曲，例如美国小提琴家希拉蕊‧韩(Hilary Hahn, 1979~)首张莫札特《钢琴与小提琴奏鸣曲》专辑即收录了这首曲子，至於其他专辑不胜枚举，有兴趣瞭解事实是否如此的朋友在逛唱片行时不妨留意。而德国小提琴家慕特(Anne-Sophie Mutter, 1963~)当年曾在柏林的一场纪念前夫的音乐会里演奏这首曲子，以曲传达了前夫逝世后内心哀慟的心情。

The cover says Violin Sonatas, but the tracklist says Sonatas for Keyboard and Violin – and as this is Mozart, both descriptions apply. The balance between pianist Cédric Tiberghien and violinist Alina Ibragimova on this recording is as beautifully calibrated as always in this long-standing partnership, but here, unusually, it is Tiberghien’s poised, lyrical piano playing that is, more often than not, to the fore. This double CD takes in seven works in non-chronological order, from the eight-year-old Mozart’s Sonata in B flat, K10 – originally published as a keyboard piece with optional violin – and the E flat major K481, written just before his 30th birthday. Each work gets a subtly different approach. Highlights include Ibragimova’s tone as she blossoms into the major-key slow theme in the adagio of K481, and Tiberghien’s echoey, bell‑like episode in the Sonata, K14; but there is something to raise a smile in every single movement.
