Formed in 1996, Admiral Twin has released five CDs to date, including 2000s critically praised Mock Heroic on Mojo/Universal Records. Since 1998, the band has performed for well over 500,000 concert-goers all across North America…usually mostly clothed. Admiral Twins latest CD, Creatures of Bread & Wine, once again showcases this Oklahoma-based pop-rock trios amazing knack for consistently catchy, intelligent songwriting, as well as rock solid musicianship, stellar harmonies, and the wildly inappropriate use of small farm animals for interesting “sound textures.” Their 12-track release is “a spirited blast of freshly honed pop that is witty and multi-faceted,” says Bruce Brodeen of Not Lame Records…who was not paid off in any way whatsoever–with drugs, illicit women, or a life-size Robin Gibb cutout cardboard display–to say nice things about the band. Seriously.
