Metronomes is an island just off the coast of your favourite place and is home to some new and exciting sounds. ‘Travel Sports’ is the debut export from its solitary inhabitant, 25 year old multi-instrumentalist Al Paxton.
The Metronomes music reflects the relaxed rhythms of island life and is a dynamic blend of taught guitars, undulating bass lines, subtle electronics and inventive percussion which altogether creates a unique dialect of its own. Recorded and mixed at home, this album combines the spirit of DIY recording with a high quality spectrum of sounds that make use of Metronomes natural resources.
