　　世界最长寿的经典科幻电视剧 Doctor Who，新版本已经进入第三季。在第二季，David Tennant 接替 Christopher Eccleston 成为第十任博士，而在第三季中亦会出现新面孔，由 Freema Agyeman 饰演的 Martha Jones 将会接替 Billie Piper 饰演的 Rose Tyler 成为博士的同伴，继续乘坐 Tardis 穿梭时空，保卫宇宙。

　　博士除了拥有控制时空的能力外，亦能改装易容。1963年到1996年间，演出过这位异世博士的演员就有7位。《Doctor Who (1963)》在1996年从英国广播电视台退下，暂与观众作别。一直到2005年，请来在英国着名电视剧监制RussellTDavies制作新一辑的《Doctor Who(2005)》，观众才再有机会欣赏异世博士的风采。

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC. The programme depicts the adventures of a mysterious alien time-traveller known as “the Doctor” who travels in his space and time-ship, the TARDIS, which appears from the exterior to be a blue 1950s police box. With his companions, he explores time and space, solving problems, facing monsters and righting wrongs.
The programme is listed in Guinness World Records as the longest-running science fiction television show in the world and is also a significant part of British popular culture. It has been recognised for its imaginative stories, creative low-budget special effects during its original run, and pioneering use of electronic music (originally produced by the BBC Radiophonic Workshop). In the United Kingdom and elsewhere, the show has become a cult television favourite and has influenced generations of British television professionals, many of whom grew up watching the series. It has received recognition from critics and the public as one of the finest British television programmes, including the BAFTA Award for Best Drama Series in 2006.
The programme originally ran from 1963 to 1989. After an unsuccessful attempt to revive regular production with a backdoor pilot in the form of a 1996 television film, the programme was successfully relaunched in 2005, produced in-house by BBC Wales in Cardiff. Some development money for the new series is contributed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), which is credited as a co-producer. Doctor Who has also spawned spin-offs in multiple media, including the current television programmes Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures, and the 1981 pilot episode K-9 and Company.

John Scot Barrowman (1967.3.11出生于苏格兰格拉斯哥的费农山脉) 是一位苏格兰的美籍演员，音乐剧表演者，歌舞演员，歌手以及电视节目主持人。他曾在美国居住与工作过。JB是位公开的同性恋，目前，他与老公（或译为公民伴侣）Scott Gill住在英国。

“Voyage of the Damned” is an episode of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. First broadcast on 25 December 2007, it is 72 minutes long and the third Christmas special since the show’s revival in 2005. The narrative continues from the final scene of “Last of the Time Lords”, when a luxury space cruiser called the Titanic breached the walls of the TARDIS. The ship’s captain, Hardaker (Geoffrey Palmer), sabotages the ship shortly after the Titanic’s collision with the TARDIS. The Doctor (David Tennant) works with a waitress named Astrid Peth (Kylie Minogue) to prevent an imminent collision with Earth.
The episode marks the only appearance of Australian singer and actress Kylie Minogue as the Doctor’s companion, Astrid Peth. Executive producer and writer Russell T Davies described her casting as a “very exceptional case”, having written the part of Astrid specifically for Minogue. On its original airdate, “Voyage of the Damned” was watched by 13.31 million viewers, the highest viewing figure for Doctor Who since the 1979 serial City of Death. It was the second most-watched programme of 2007, beaten only by the episode of EastEnders which aired immediately after it. Critical opinion about the episode was divided; the writing and Minogue’s performance were both praised and criticised.
【关于动画版】:

The Infinite Quest《无极》是基于英国科幻电视连续剧《神秘博士》而衍生出来的动画片。同样是由BBC电视台制作但是和真人系列却是不同的制片商。它于2007年4月2号在儿童衍生剧《绝对神秘博士》（Totally Doctor Who ）里播出，（每次播出长度为3分半钟）共分12个星期播完。结局部分（12集以后的部分）安排在“综合节目大汇合”后面播出，以此来增加到第13部分，使得其时间长度等同于《神秘博士》系列中的一集标准时间长度。《无极》在2007年6月30号开始播出，与《神秘博士》第3季完结时间一致。
和所有《神秘博士》衍生剧一样，《无极》也作为解释《神秘博士》系列剧经典性的一部分。
故事梗概
第十任博士和Martha Jones开始空间旅行去寻找能打开无极的数据硬条，巨大的宇宙飞船能够满足人们心底遨游太空的愿望，然而邪恶的Baltazar 也在寻找这艘飞船。
The Infinite Quest is an animated serial based on the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It was made by BBC Television, but does not share the same producers as the live-action series. It was aired in twelve weekly parts (three and a half minutes each) starting 2 April 2007 as a segment of the children’s spin-off show Totally Doctor Who. The final installment (after episode 12) was shown at the end of the “Omnibus” episode, thus increasing the total to thirteen parts, making the compiled series the equivalent length of a standard episode of Doctor Who. The compiled story was broadcast on 30 June 2007, coinciding with the finale of Series 3.
Like all Doctor Who spin-off media, its canonicity in relation to the television series is open to interpretation.
Synopsis
The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones set off on an adventure through space to find the datachips to unlock The Infinite, a huge spaceship that can grant people their heart’s desire. However, the evil Baltazar is also searching for the ship.
