　　《战争与勇士:圣女贞德》这个游戏与PS2上的动作游戏《三国无双》有许多相同之处。实际上，他非常像一个战斗游戏。在这个游戏中，你将扮演法国女英雄圣女贞德，以及同时代其他着名的法国军事将领。游戏中一般使用第三人称视角，不过当你在运用长弓和石弓这类打击范围较小的武器时，你可一转到第一人称视角。时在这个游戏中你必须花费大量的时间四处寻找英国士兵的并杀死他们。这些士兵包括持长矛的士兵、携带毒气的士兵、武士、还有可怕的英国长弓手。即使你经常面对自己数量30倍甚至更多的敌军，你也能非常容易的击败的敌人。充分利用建筑物进行移动攻击，关键是要连续不断的击倒敌人。一旦他们被击倒了，你就能够在移动的过程之中继续对敌军进行致命的打击。
　　在这个游戏中移动操作非常简单，这里不需要其他的鼠标指示。你要做的就是在游戏过程中，点击鼠标的左右健。经验等级增加之后，贞德就能够学会攻击动作、提高攻击的速度和杀伤力。游戏中的战斗很明显有Diablo的影子。任何时候只要你的HP没了，你就会被迫中止游戏。如果你能够吃到一块面包或者一条鱼，能够恢复HP以便继续进行游戏，这样你就不会中止游戏了。如果在进行战斗的期间你按”F1”健就能迅速喝下一瓶康复的药物，恢复健康，在这个方面两个游戏几乎是一样的。
　　在游戏进行过程中要完成八个任务，这八个任务听起来好像不是很多，但是这些都是很复杂的任务。到了游戏后期，平均每个任务要花费三到五个小时，因为在这些任务中你通常要解放许许多多的城镇，村庄，城市和城堡，同时还要杀死成百上千的英国士兵。做到这些需要花很长的时间，同时还有一些地方可能会限制你的移动范围。例如，即使这个斜坡不是那么陡，你也不能径直爬上去，正确的方法是，你必须顺着他周围的路走上去。同样，你也不穿过森林抄小路走，相反，你必须沿着像迷宫一样的路走出去。在游戏中，到处都有设计者所设的陷阱，他经常会迫使你沿着他设计好的路走下去。当你在一个障碍物前面回徘徊却过不去的时候，你就会觉得很沮丧。
