法国晚期浪漫派作曲家，1875年出生在委内瑞拉的一个移民家庭，3岁时随家人移居巴黎。1886年，阿恩进入巴黎音乐学院学习钢琴和作曲。1945年成为巴黎歌剧院指挥。阿恩的作曲风格受到老师马斯奈的影响，旋律优美，格调抒情。在艺术歌曲和室内乐方面尤其出色。
马泰恩·希尔:
英国著名男高音。音色纯净，风格文雅，非常适合演绎阿恩的艺术歌曲。

Reynaldo Hahn should be better known – his songs have a unique flavour and are often very appealing. The highlight on this disc is ‘L’heure Exquise’ which is my favourite French melodie. Martyn Hill has a most beautiful pure tenor voice, perfect for this repertoire, and Graham Johnson is immaculate in the airy sweetness of Hahn’s accompaniments. (Amazon)
