该作将在2004年秋天与大家见面。Beautiful游戏工作室复用了为全球职业俱乐部提供球员资料和状态的深入研究系统。这个数据库被当今很多定级足球经理和教练所应用。《Championship Manager 5》更加会特别应用更加详细的数据库版本。除了和《Championship Manager 03/04》那样会提供更加准确和客观的数据外，游戏还会让大家感受到更加迅速的操控反应，因为读取时间大大降低。
