【内容简介】：

Katie Clarke (Leah Pipes, "Clubhouse") 也许永远无法原谅自己的父亲Danny (Brett Cullen, "Ghost Rider," "Friday Night Lights")－－这位老兽医居然将一家人带离了繁华的现代都市纽约，搬到南非腹地一块狩猎保留地。他们的新家是一栋叫做"蓝色羚羊"的小屋，屋子又破又烂，根本不能住人，但他们一家人得在这里待上一年！

在南非只住了短短几天，一家人接连遭遇了一只受伤的雌狮，一只迷途的幼兽，还有一只温顺的长颈鹿。他们还结识了一些当地人，包括年轻英俊的英国人Oliver Banks (Calvin Goldspink)和他的双胞胎妹妹Emily(Tiffany Mulheron) 。这两兄妹的父亲Colin Banks (Jeremy Sheffield)经营着专门向富人提供服务的狩猎生意。小伙子Tumelo (Atandwa Kani)则梦想着成为一名兽医。

Beautiful People creator Michael Rauch wrote the pilot and Company Pictures, the company behind the original series, will also co-produce with Charlie Pattinson and George Faber executive producing alongside Michael Rauch.

Life is Wild is produced by All 3 Media Company in association with CBS Paramount Network Television, Company Pictures, and Warner Bros. Television. The series has been given a 13 episode initial order by The CW Television Network.

Life is Wild is being filmed entirely in South Africa.
