使用方法（带图的使用方法详见压缩包内的文档）：
一、被控端设定
被控端(Slave)就是要被遥控的那部电脑，下载安装好Input Director之后，会出现以下画面，上方一共有六个分页。
1.启动被控端：
先在「Main」分页中按下〔Enable as Slave〕按钮即可启动成为被控模式。

启动后Windows右下角的系统列的「ID」图示会变成绿色(原本是灰色)，表示已经进入被遥控状态了。

2.被控端设定：
接着按下上方的「Slave Configuration」，先选择能遥控这台电脑的主控端地址，一共有三种：
• Allow any computer to take control ：所有电脑均能遥控(如果你只有在家中或办公室使用IP分享器，不会有外来的IP使用，可以用这个选项)
• Allow computers only on this subnet to take control ：来自某网段的电脑才能遥控，可设定网路位址及网路遮罩。
• Allow only the computer listed below to take control ：只有下列清单中的电脑才能遥控。 可按下〔Add〕按钮来加入可遥控电脑的电脑名称或IP地址。

下方的「Slave Preferences」可以设定当主控端关机时要做的动作，或是同步主控端锁定电脑或进入屏幕保护装置。
如果你担心传输的资料被他人窃听，可以在下方的Data Security(资料安全)处按下〔Change〕来修改设定。
3.加密设定:
目前Input Director仅支援AES加密标准，分成128/192/256位元等三种。
下方则可输入要遥控这台的密码，需输入两次。 ( 请注意：主控端也需设定相同的加密长度及密码，否则会无法遥控 )

二、主控端设定
主控端(Master)就是你主要操作的键盘/鼠标的那部电脑，设定方式如下。
1.启动主控端
先在「Main」分页中按下〔Enable as Master〕按钮即可启动，此时Windows右下角的系统列的「ID」图示会变成红色，表示进入主控状态。

按下〔Set Hotkey〕可设定一组热键，方便你随时将游标切回主控端电脑。

2.加入被控端
接着按下上方的「Master Configuration」，然后按下〔Add〕按钮来加入要遥控的电脑。
( 请注意：要加入被控端前，被控端的电脑必须先安装及设定好Input Director软件 )

3.被控端设定
在Hostname处输入电脑的名称或IP地址，也可按下〔Set Hotkey〕来设定遥控热键。

如果你的被控端有设定加密或是密码，请记得在下方的Data Security(资料安全)处按下〔Change〕来修改设定。 (参考上面的「3.加密设定」)
请注意：主控端跟控端设定的加密长度及密码必须相同，否则会无法遥控
4.调整被控端位置
完成设定后，画面上会出现一台空白的电脑，下方的「Slave System」处也会列出目前已经加入的被控端电脑，已经启用Input Director的电脑前方会出现绿色的勾勾，没启用的则会显示红色的X。 (如果被控端启用了，可以按下下方的〔Scan Slaves〕来重新扫描被控端)
你可以根据该电脑实际摆放的位置，用滑鼠拖曳该电脑的图案到主控端(Master System)旁边(上下左右皆可)

调整好之后，就可以开始控制其他的电脑了。 怎么遥控呢？ 很简单，假设你的被控端电脑是设定在右边，此时只要将鼠标从主控端屏幕的右边「冲」出去，就会自动出现在被控端电脑里面啦！ 真的是太方便好用啦！ 而且光标移到其他电脑时，游标旁会发出一圈圈的同心圆光芒，方便让你找到游标的所在位置喔（也可以设置取消此功能）～
如此一来即使你的电脑不能安装双萤幕，也能将旧的电脑或笔电变成你的第二工作区，不用在同时操作多个键盘滑鼠手忙脚乱了！

三、其他设定
如果你希望Input Director可以在开机时自动启动，可以按下上方的「Global Preferences」来设定。
你可以选择「Input Director is enabled as a Master/Slave」来让该软件在开机后自动启动。
如果你有多张网卡的，也可以按下下方红框圈选处的〔Change〕来选择网卡。 想要修改端口编号也可从Network Port处来修改。

如果想要分享剪贴簿，请勾选「Share Clipboard」 即可，不过目前测试的结果仅能分享文字的部份，剪贴簿的图片似乎没有支援。 档案分享的部份需要透过网路上的邻居的方式，设定共用的资料夹才能使用复制/贴上。

FAQ
Q：Input Director跟远端桌面、VNC、TeamViewer这类的遥控软体有什么不同？
A： Input Director是可以将多台含有显示器的电脑集合起来变成一台多显示器的电脑，只要共用一组键盘鼠标即可操作所有的电脑， 每台电脑显示的画面都在原来被控端的屏幕上 ，因此笔记本电脑也能使用。 而远端遥控软体主要是用在距离较远，看不到萤幕的电脑中，例如维护伺服器、远端帮他人维修电脑…等用途， 被控端电脑的屏幕可以显示在主控端电脑的屏幕上 （VNC、TeamViewer之类的也可同时显示在原来的屏幕）。

About Input Director

Input Director is a Windows application that lets you control multiple Windows systems using the keyboard/mouse attached to one computer. It is designed for folks who have two (or more) computers set up at home and find themselves regularly sliding from one system to the other (and wearing out the carpet in the process!). With Input Director, you can share a single keyboard/mouse across a set of systems. You switch which system receives the input either by hotkey or by moving the cursor so that it transitions from one screen to the other (in a very similar fashion to a multi-monitor setup). The idea being that you can position the monitors from two or more systems in a row and use a shared keyboard/mouse to control all of them.
Input Director also supports a "shared" clipboard, in which you can copy data onto the clipboard on one system, transition across to another and paste.

Transition Features

Ripples surround the cursor for a few seconds after transitioning to help the eye follow the cursor from one computer to another:
Transitioning using the mouse can be setup to occur:
Immediately when the cursor hits the edge of the screen
If the screen edge is double tapped by the cursor
If the cursor momentarily pauses at the edge of the screen
Can be configured to limit transitions near the corners of computer monitors to avoid accidental slippage between systems
Can also set a key (or keys) that must be held down to permit transitions between systems
Hotkeys can be setup to switch control to a specific computer or move to the next computer to the left or right

Keyboard and Mouse Features
