To force the program to ask you the registration code, just close it, set the date temporarily ahead two months (so that the trial period has expired), restart the program, insert the serial.
Then set the date at the correct time.

Still valid the advice in the above post
Remember to delete C./Windows/neoqaz2.dll (thats’ where version 1.8 kept the registration data) otherwise 2.0.0.0 will find that fake key and will not work fine and, from time to time, resets your settings.
neoqaz2.dll is a hidden and a (falsely) system file
(as you can read in xplorer2 official board h**p://netez.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=8195&sid=4b917eaf022a1b89f5acc54758cda2c4 ).
You can see it only if you check (uncheck) "Show hidden files" "Show System files"
