为软件开发人员创建增效型智能开发工具的公司 JetBrains® 扩大了其特定语言 IDE 产品线,并宣布大规模推出两款面向 PHP 及网页开发的新产品:PhpStorm 和 WebStorm 。

继首款针对 Ruby/Rails 推出的特定语言 IDE JetBrains RubyMine 的成功之后,JetBrains 选择了应用最广泛的网页开发技术之一 PHP 作为其下一个攻克目标。
JetBrains 项目主管 Maxim Mossienko 表示:“使用 IntelliJ IDEA 以及利用 PHP 工作的 Java 开发人员长期以来一直要求我们增加 PHP 语言支持。我们首先在 IntelliJ IDEA 9.0 中推出了 PHP 支持,并计划随后创建特定的 IDE。尽管我们仍然计划将 IntelliJ IDEA 作为混合语言编程的终极 IDE,但 IntelliJ Platform 也使我们能够轻松创造特定语言开发环境。PhpStorm 和 WebStorm 是这一功能强大的轻重量 IDE 产品线的新组成部分。”
