文献管理工具

Biblioscap 以下简称BSP，是Biblioscape公司发布的文献管理工具，是一款基于Windows平台的研究信息管理工具（Research Information Manager，RIM）， 可以文件夹的形式组织和管理文献，并与常用的文字处理软件MS Word相集成，简化在写作论文时对文献的引用和处理，同时，该软件内建的BiblioWeb（以下简称BW）可以在互联网上发布文献资料，方便文献资料共享，实现了文献资料、图书目录的轻松网络化管理。通过更改BW的部分原代码文件后，可使BW能较好地支持中文输入和显示!

BSP由七个模块组成，分别是：

1.References：以文件夹分类的形式存储、管理和搜索文献资料，并可通过选择不同的过滤器（filter）将各类在线文献数据库的文献目录输入BSP中。

2.BiblioWord：是与模块组合在一起的以方便用户使用的字处理软件。它还可将文件中的临时索引转换为特定格式的索引条目或文献目录。如果用户喜欢用Word或写字板（），BSP还提供与此两类软件的接口应用模块。

3.Internet：在线搜索文献数据库，并可捕获网页。

4.Notes：收集、存储和整理与参考文献相关的资料，每一个注释条目（note）可与其它注释版条目（notes）、文献条目（references）、任务条目（tasks）等建立链接。

5.Tasks：整合于References和Notes模块中，方便各种任务的管理协调。

6.Charts：绘制流程图和管理图表等。每个Chart主体均可与References、Notes、Tasks和Library建立链接关系。

7.Library：小型研究类图书馆管理应用模块。可用于构建研究者的个人图书馆、科室图书馆和小型合作型图书馆。它包括了图书馆自动化管理的7个亚模块，分别是目录（Catalog）、序列号（Serials）、流通情况（Circulation）、馆内借贷（Interlibrary Loan）、借阅者（Borrowers）、借出者（Lenders）、供应商（Suppliers）

Biblioscape is designed with one goal in mind, and that is to help researchers manage different kinds of research-related information more efficiently. Biblioscape will help researchers organize all kinds of research related information in a single place, and link them together to build a knowledge base. It consists of several modules addressing different aspects of a researcher’s needs. This book will explain all the main tools that are in Biblioscape and give practical advice on how to get the most out of the program. It also offers tips on how to setup your database for both individual use and group use. Biblioscape was built to handle a very large number of records of different types. This is reflected in the way Biblioscape separates the various tasks into individual modules. Before we go into detail, let’s first examine the basic concepts of Biblioscape. Then we can move on to an overview of all the main features.
