杰佛瑞·迪佛Jeffery Deaver（1950年5月6日－）美国当代著名的侦探小说家。小名Jeff。其他笔名为William Jefferies和Jeffery Wilds Deaver。
生平 　　1950年出生于芝加哥市外，父亲是广告文案作者，母亲是家庭主妇。杰佛瑞在1961年，11岁时开始写作，当时他个人第一部小说仅有两个完整的章节，当他在密苏里大学完成新闻系学士学业后，他的作品包括了诗，报导，小说，都陆续获得了文学界的几个大奖。包括有安东尼小说奖、3次的艾勒里·昆恩读书会奖Ellery Queen Reader’s Award的年度最佳短篇小说奖，以及2001年W.H.史密斯好读奖 ,杰佛瑞一开始仅为杂志，报纸写专栏，包括有纽约时报，华尔街日报等；他都写过稿子，后来他进入了Fordham法律学校学法律，接着在华尔街的律师事务所工作。这是他开始写侦探小说的起源，1990年他辞去工作，开始全职的小说创作，并以全身瘫痪的警探林肯·莱姆Lincoln Rhyme系列挤进畅销作家小说家之林。他曾四度获美国侦探小说作家协会Mystery Writers of America提名艾德嘉奖Edgar Awards。莱姆系列中的第一本小说人骨拼图The Bone Collector，相当受到欢迎，第一刷就破纪录的卖了10万本，并接着在1999年被环球影业翻拍成电影，由丹泽尔·华盛顿Denzel Washington饰演瘫痪的警探莱姆，安吉莉娜·裘莉Angelina Jolie饰演他的女助手艾艾米莉亚·莎克丝Amelia Sachs。杰佛瑞目前住在美国维吉尼亚州和加州。他有一个妹妹Julie Reece Deaver也是小说家，不过专门写青少年小说
